It seems like a think that would last at least for a year, but it would be quite interesting and finding out what i can't draw (yet) or what I never ever can draw in my entire life.

I couldn't help myself for not holding a pencil.
When I hear the song Angels from Within Temptation, it reminds me of a scene in Skip Beat, when they made a PV of Prisoner. The picture below is inspired by both the scene and song.
aaarhg, I have to withhold myself for not drawing blood as contrast for the innocent look she has.

I haven't draw anything in ages. So, why not starting of with something simple like a cover for The Gift. It's just a quick digital sketch. Hopefully, I can buy a printer very soon.



I want to draw, want to finish a chapter, want to finish 'whatever story' I am working on. A little fairytale (aargh just 6 pages to draw) or The Gift, it doesn't matter. I want to draw a yaoi shortie for After Eight ( Your wish perhaps?), or The Bar for CheeseCake! Studios 5th year birthday album. Or everything else for the next album. I wanna do Secret Files for Smut Cake. Perhaps drawing another chapter for Banana Lemon (my first solo booklet). BUT I have to concentrate now on my exams over a couple of weeks. no fun...

De afgelopen dagen is het gelukkig wat koeler geworden. Van al dat hitte werd ik alleen maar moe en irriteer me veel te snel aan dingen. Het zal wel door vocht te kort komen; ik drink al niet zoveel.

Goed, de zomer is haast voorbij. XD nog 3 weken is voor mij net zo als einde XD;; Dat betekent dat bijna alle zomerdeadlines geweest zijn! Vandaag ga ik nog even starten met de laatste. Heer-lijk! Eindelijk ik kan mijn verhaal weer opgepakt worden. Mijn fantastische chaotische werkwijze die toch maar niet zo chronologisch blijkt te zijn,  was gisteren pagina 5 aan de beurt. De line art van de andere 23 zijn al gedaan. Yay, nog 7 te gaan en dan is de chapter klaar! Daarna nog 50 ^__^


Gisteren zat ik de hele dag te prutsen aan 1 panel. Gebouwen tekenen is zo hatelijk, want je moet met zoveel dingen rekening houden om de perspectief kloppen te krijgen. Aaaargh! die loze hulplijntjes! Ik had in die tijd 2 pagina's af kunnen krijgen. Mam, pap, waarom ik in de eerste instantie geen architect wilt worden? DAAROM!
Het is niet eens zo geweldig geworden. Misschien komt het doordat het met freehand is gelijnd. Het gebouw is oud, dus tja strakke lijnen zou niet gepast zijn. Even wat f/x overheen gooien en alles komt dat goed XD

Overigens was tweedaagse Kampen van de afgelopen week leuk. Het is geweldig om wat te kunnen relaxen en om weer onder gezellig mensen te zijn. Keb ook nieuwe mensen ontmoet: windweaver en milou. XD Totaal niet verwacht, dus verrast. ming85 heeft een geweldig werk verricht met de organisatie en alles!! Schouderklopje en een applause.  Helaas waren we  (ik kwam Kevin en Jeroen in het station tegen) te laat bij de opening >__< ik zat zo te balen. Ik was nog wel eerder uit huis gegaan. De trein naar Zwolle werd een stoptrein en moest steeds wachten op de tegenliggende trein. In zwolle was de trein die ik moest hebben naar Kampen natuurlijk allang weg, maar er stond nog eentje die op punt stond weg te gaan. Sprinten met mijn zero-conditie erna toe en hij blijkt een storing te hebben en werd afgelast. >__< Eindelijk in kampen aangekomen regende het...yay. Op het missen van de toespraak van de burgemeester en
ming85 was de rest van de wel aardig. Iemand van de stripspectakel gaf toe dat hij voor deze tentoonstelling oogkleppen had en na dit te hebben gezien ging zijn ogen open. Dat was best sweet =3

Ik heb zin in de beurs van volgende zaterdag... =3 (Niet zozeer dat er veel gekocht gaat worden enzo, maar het is meer als een nodige dagje relaxen)

Ken je Aarin Secret (I'm a mag) van de huge yaoi/shounen ai online community? Ik kan laatst tegen toen ik op zoek was naar iets (don't ask). Keb het nog niet gelezen, slechts even doorheen gescand. Het zag wel lollig uit.

I've just watch the last episode of Shounen Onmyouji, which was pretty ok. The most interesting part is that the story included the twelve shiki. It makes wonder more... what are the legend behind those spirit gods. I've search overall on internet, but couldn't find detailed info about them. It seems that Touda always is a traitor and has a 'seal' on him to prevent him from running wild (does it sounds familiar?) Of cause of those 12 the four guardians of the gate are included (suzaku, genbu, seiryu and byakko). I know they are part of the 'sterrenbeeldstelseliets' XD;; And so...

Anyway back to Shounen Onmyouji.The art cover is so pretty! I'am wondering if there an art book of the serie. Not the tv version, but with art like these.


There are more art around. These pin-ups are just examples to illustrate what I mean. Especially, the group pictures are gorgeous! I mean leave the style as it is. The feel and motion coming from the pictures, the colors (particular the colors) are done so well. It's hard to describe.

Being hyper about the cgs, I'am diffiantly going to make an Shounen Onmyouji fan art in the orignal way. Can care less how unknown this serie is XD

Guess what? I had an exam (had to do next to my work). Dus dat betekent veel inspiratie, naja inspiratie... in iedergeval weer zin om
tekenen, wat al weken/maanden geleden was geweest. Een of een ander manier nijg ik dan terug naar mijn gewoonte om te grote hoofden te tekenen.

Zomaar wat geschetst:	Misschien dat ik later nog wat mee gaat doen. Kleding en plooien teken is leuk.

The Gift schetsen (jaja het bestaat nog XD) Het moeilijkste is de plot verfijnen. Gelukkig helpt Sebas me een handje, dus het schiets al aardig op.

Groepsfoto: Lewan Raylia, Rena Wender, Ryo Wender. Toen ze nog enkele jaren jongere waren; voordat het verhaal begon. Rena komt alleen voor in de flashback. Eigenlijk wel jammer, haar design is eigenlijk leuker dan de vrouwelijke hoofdpersonage. En Lewan staat er een beetje stijl en dom bij >_>. Dit vraagt om herteken te worden!	Andore, de vrouwelijk hoofdpersonage. Iets klopt er niet en daarom ook gestopt, Haar hoofd werd (alweer) veel te groot voor haar lichaam. Als het niet wil, wil het dan ook niet, he? Wanneer ik een beetje ben ingekomen, wordt het wel weer opnieuw gemaakt.
Een mislukte poging van een dynamische draai. Handen zijn NIET leuk om te teken, maar wel weer als je het onder de knie hebt. Vandaag is het gewoon de Nationale ik-kan-geen-handen-tekenen-dag. Zie de lint in haar haar. Dit is de Adore in het begin van het verhaal.	Ryo Wender, de mannelijke hoofdpersoon. Hij lijkt alleen niet op hoe hij zou horen eruit te zien (duidelijk gebrabbel?) Hij ziet er tekens weer anders uit. Terwijl hij dan zo moet uitzien: linkie Standaard bishie? So? I like! XD Nu maar eens meer oefenen. Het is gek dat ik vrouwelijk personage wel meerdere malen kan tekenen zonder dat ze een ander personage wordt.

The gift sexscene: clicky. Er is overigens niets te zien. Serieus, deze scenes zijn uitstekend om te leren hoe twee personage met elkaar interacten. Keb veel te veel moeite mee om personages in goeie verhouding te krijgen.

Ik hoop binnenkort binnenkort de character sheet nog uit te breiden en van de anderen nog te tekenen. Dan moet ik ophouden zo druk te zijn met dingen. grrrr ... honger....

Anime con 2008 is over. I went there on saterdays only, ranting will come soon. CheeseCake had ingenious plan of organizing a lottery with a real live painting as the jackpot. Buy some CC stuf, anything, and get a change to win.
 A large part of the illustration was made before hand. I just couldn't get over my heart to give a crappy art away. Some people even bought because they wanted the painted. Seriously, I amazed me. Anyway the winner was incredible happy with the art, so I was content ^^ (though it was hard to give it away ^^;;)
The illustration was inspired a little by CLAMP. If you look good at the girls sleeve, you can see golden flower pattern.

Want to cheer up a friend. Second try to make Onigiri with roze zalm and krabsalade fills. No nori, because the shops were closed =_=;; Just pray that they will tast good ^^;;



The Animecon is this weekend OO;; already. The banner is not finisched yet. It's so big! Plus I need to start with an illustration for the convention. ;) Plus meeting ppl this week, because I don't have time next week. Oh that's right, my cousins wedding is next tuesday. Argh I sooo need to buy shoes before then. And I hate to buy shoes, because I can never find nice one (or they are too expensive). Also I need a new pair for work. OH right! new contact lenses. Prepair bento lunches for on the road to the convention. Need so much too do.

=___=;; I am sooo stress and nervious lately, can't talk ABN, can't think, can't make decisions (I totally can't! it's very weird), can't remember anything (seriously, I need to think before to be able to answer something simple!), moodswings, and don't understand what people say to me (like they speak in a totally alien language). Moreover, I instanly forget what people said to me like 5 seconds ago. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME! My mind seems to block out everything. And sometimes I am beginning to "feel" apathic. Scary.

I was using my tablet today again, but couldn't draw for long, because my shoulder hurt like hell. I feel like its swollen up. It's still not recovering since last week; it even hurts when toughed. Normally, such pain will go away in a few hours or so, but now it doesn't. I am afraid it is a sign of rsi? Most people will get it in their wrist, but I draw from my shoulders and hold my wrist strait. (I am weird) Thank god that drawing, using the wrist, with a pencil hurt much less. Hopefully it will go away soon, I need to finish an assignment.

Aaaaand I have internet again!!! w00t!! Buuut, my tablet (graphire) broke. First the pen; the lead was worn out on one side, and now somehow the cable will not make contact with the comp. Luckily, I still have a very old tablet (sapphire) as back up, but it will be a matter of time till this pen will worn out again. I soooo need a new tablet; and one that is not too expensive. The model I have, graphire is not manufactured...??? what? =__= Can anyone recommand me one?

OMG, vampire knight! I read the manga till chap 38. Is was far more exiting than expected. I have read a chapter once, long time ago, but though it is a icky sugar coated sweet shoujo. "I am in love with a vampire, but am a human. Oh, no...!!!!" aaargh. *hit her head to get the image out. Instead it's has more depth while its reveal little by little. On the other hand, the storyline will never exeed Angel Sanctuary, when we talk about genius stories. Ok, there is _still_ a thin layer of that sugar coat. Just ignore it, just pretent. Blood, gore, gothic, dark, mystery, supernatural, bishounen; give it too me! (My dream is to make draw a story with these keywords) The intro music is marvilous, it fits the story so well! Words can't decribe the feeling of the song. (mugenjouproject , don't click on it, I don't want to be bashed about my music tast =P )

I should update more freqenter, but I have still have no internet. -Sigh- Whatever... *gives up.

Last thursday, a friend and I went to the Kralingse Plassen, which was located almost next door. The whether was beautiful and sun was shining! The quality of the photo's are not really great. Somehow my phone cam take zoom out photo's. Weird.

This is madness: snow in March. It supposes to be warm, sunshine, birds singing. Is this a hint that we forgot to celebrate christmas? Or making up to the lack of compressed water white substance. Oh well, it's good as long as its not snowing when I have to travel back to rotterdam and please let the sun shine.

My bed(s) had arrived =3 Sleeping on a matrass is heavenly! There was a broken piece on the outside of my door. They came to fix it, aka change the outside doorplate >_> It seems that the doos was sandwiched by two plates... riiiight. Anyway, that was good and all and now hopefully the Geyser guy will call me this week, like he said he would. I sure do want some hot water to shower with. Using a bucket and pre heated water is fun for three weeks, but for longer then a month would it be really irritating.

Living in Rotterdam is nice so far. Much better than in Amsterdam. (hahah dont hit me) Less crouwded? I haven't been there in the middle of the day.

Not in a particular order:

- Do less “senseless” things, and be more productive.

- Don’t take too much work a time. (skip the senseless things XD)

- Spent more time with friends.

- Don’t postpone things too much.

- Talk more, be less shy

Gelukkig is ligt het tentoonstellingboekje nu bij de drukker. De hellisch is nu (voorlopig) voorbij. Achteraf gezien is het best grappig om op te merken dat het mogelijk om in een week een boekje in elkaar te zetten. Van alle kanten klein stukjes die het boekje moet vullen (tekst/plaatjes/vormgeving/etc.). Als je dat in je eentje moet doen kost het zo ontzettend veel tijd. Dit bewijst maar weer dat samenwerking de meest effectieve manier is om iets te bereiken.

Maar, toch, het was een ontzettend zwaar week voor me. Twee a drie uur slaap was gewoon, zelfs nu kan ik niet 's avonds niet in slaap vallen. De ingekomen inzendingen en teksten was 1) te veel, 2) te weinig, 3) niet compleet, 4) sommige illustraties zijn niet staand (zoals de template en moet aangepast worden.) Plus ik ben niet zo bekend met werken met Indesign. En had dan ook de eerste keer een A3 blad genomen in plaats van een A4. Alle werk moest opnieuw. Gelukkig was ik 'maar' met de template bezig. Dit alles zou in de eerste instantie Chib's doen; mijn taak zou gewoon het verzamelen van teksten en illustraties zijn. Hij dus de vormgeving. In ieder geval zo doen we een beetje bij CC. Maar ik dacht waarom zou ik niet alvast beginnen.  Verstandig ivm deadline? Ja. Verstandig ivm eigen tijd? Nee. Maar gelukkig was het zo gedaan, want ik denk niet dat Chib's het gehaald zou hebben.

Verder mijn grote dank aan Yakumo met zijn suggesties, het nakijken van stukjes en zijn ongelofelijk steun. Fenko voor het verzorgen van teksten in het begin van het boekje (nog niet gelezen though, maar ik laat me verrassen ^^v). En Aimee voor de plaatjes, hoewel niet alles werd gebruikt. Het boekje zit een beetje volgepropt uit en heb hier en daar nog wel opmerkingen, maar ivm tijd moet alles met een korreltje zout bij nemen.

Zoiets ga ik niet meer nog een keer doen. Het was alleen maar om Toni te steunen. Die lieve schat leek me zo wanhopig omdat niemand hiervoor zijn/haar hand wilde uitsteken. Alles voor mijn goeie vrienden ^^v


En nu eens lijsten gaan kopen ^0^/ Met rand, uh huh.

Ik was het helemaal vergeten, maar psd  herinner me weer dat NanoMangO aan de gang is. En natuurlijk ben ik veel te laat om me aan te melden. Maar och, dan maar zonder. Ik probeer dan wel zelf om in 1 maand 30 pagina's uit mijn mouw te schudden. Let wel. Het zijn schetsen. Ik ben van plan om r-Evolution verder af te maken (ken je het nog van Abunai prog. boekje van 2006?). Het zou iets van 40 pagina's worden. Hopelijk gaat scifi me goed af,.. gezien de machinery enzovoorts.... Ze blijven een aars om te tekenen. Misschien wordt r-Evolution gewoon een webcomic en niet uitgepubliceerd. Ik zie nog wel. Als je niet meer weet waar het over gaat, hieronder zijn de eerste paar pags van r-Evolution inclusief 1tje van gister. De pag van vandaag moet k nog scannen. (Mijn scanner is beuh >,<) Ook de tekst van de final versie gaat wat veranderingen in komen, want ik ga lekker roet in het eten gooien tussen de relatie van Laia Giliant en Seth Kisher.


Over doujinshi's reviews. Keb vandaag eindelijk dat van Openminded Zomerspecial af. pfff dat was een werk zeg. Keb even geen zin om het na te kijken op grammatica en spelling, of alles wat er tussen in zit. En nu af wachten tot een nieuwe con of beurs om nieuwe boekjes te komen om daar over af te kraken :p te schrijven. Dat zou het snelst in begin feb zijn denk ik. Tijdens de opening van de tentoonstelling in de  Utrechtse Stadhuis.

Because my brother is such a sweety, today, I decided to make him a nice dinner, in stead as-long-as-it's-warm-and-eatible .

And there I was, standing in the kitchen for two whole hours >,< (forgot to defroze the meat, plus I am so slow). Anyway, made him some:
- fish nugget (those really took  their time to get done), with tomatosaus
- flavoured potato's
- wonton with shrimps
- pork (this time, I 've used ketjap in stead of maggi and a little bit red wine. It tasts good too!)
- fried onionrings not on the photo (never done it, so it's a little tryout)
- carrot, onion, leek, broccoli, a little bit of garlic for the decoration.

To bad I forgot to buy more garlic, wanna try to make a dish with it some times. I have never done it before ^^;;

When getting home from work, he can just nuke the food. ^_^
